Department of Educational Sciences offers graduate courses leading to M.S. degree in Educational Sciences, non-thesis M.A. degree in Human Resource Development in Education, and Ph.D. degree in Educational Sciences. The department also offers courses to prepare students from various departments of the Faculty of Education for teaching at the primary and/or secondary school level, and conducts research in various areas of educational sciences. Students in M.S. program in Educational Sciences may choose one of the three areas of education for specialization: Educational Administration and Planning, Curriculum and Instruction, or Guidance and Psychological Counseling. Similarly, Ph.D. candidates in Educational Sciences may specialize in Educational Administration and Planning, Curriculum and Instruction, or Guidance and Psychological Counseling. Non-thesis M.A. program in Human Resource Development in Education aims to prepare individuals as training and development specialists in human resources units of schools, government and private agencies, and organizations.
